Our Process

Initial meeting
& briefing

The aim of our initial meeting is to ascertain your vision and ideas. We will then complete a site visit, measure and audit the space – looking at the logistics of the idea and what we need to do to get the project started.

If you’re part of the staycation market, we can help you with feasibility reports and return on investment model to help you through what can be a daunting experience.

Design & cost

The first design step for us is to create a concept design presentation. This will include lots of reference images, some sketches of our ideas about the scheme, and an idea of materials proposed. Concept design in itself may need to go through a process, which may include 3D computer generated models, for us to hone in on the creation which fits your brief perfectly, and match with your budget expectations.

Your project will probably require planning. We can work with your architect or planning adviser or handhold you through the whole process, working with experienced planning consultants where required. Whether you are developing a private scheme for your home, or a commercial operation we are well connected with industry experts to make this project as stress free as possible for you.

Detail design & construction drawings

The devil is in the detail, but don’t worry, we have got it covered! Detail design and construction drawings are extremely important to us achieving the quality of workmanship we pride ourselves in. We will consult with structural engineers and qualified architects where required, to ensure our structures are structurally sound and compliant with building regulations when required.

We rely on our highly skilled craftsmen, specialist labour and passionate interior design team, to create our structures. We have a vast amount of experience in timber construction, other materials, working from heights and in challenging environments. The construction period can vary significantly depending on the project, but our average build time is normally between 6 and 12 weeks.
